WARRENSBURG, Mo. (March 30, 2011) – The University of Central Missouri is hosting its second annual Earth Week, a full week of activities celebrating Earth Day, April 16-22.
Earth Week Focuses on celebrating sustainability and recycling efforts on campus, providing information on the importance of living and going green. It encourages and facilitates partnerships between the Warrensburg community and the UCM campus groups.
Earth Week 2011 will include:
Saturday, April 16
· Volunteer Service Day - 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Selmo Park)

Monday, April 18

Through Earth Week, UCM hopes students, faculty, staff and community members, will adopt a more sustainable lifestyle and promote the idea and the theme of the week, “Change Your Behavior, Change Our World.”
